Elmer Summers - Fowler - Mr Summers was born Jan. 5, 1876, in Jay County, Ind. He had lived in Fowler for the last 40 years and had been a justice of the peace in the township for the last 18 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church and was a charter member of Fowler Grange 2545. He was a member of the Booster Club and the Fowler Fire Department and was president of the Mahoning Valley N.F.L.A. 

Pauline Eynon - The EMS community mourns the loss of Pauline G. Eynon, who passed away recently at the age of 65. She was well known in the EMS field for her contributions as both a paramedic and as a member of the victim Identification Program. A native of Youngstown, Eynon retired from her job as a health and physical education teacher with the Sebring School System in 1991 after 30 years. She also taught at Fairless High School and Streetsboro Elementary. In 1980, she enrolled in an EMT course and furthered her education by becoming a state-certified EMT instructor, teaching hundreds of future EMTs in Trumbull County for 10 years. After earning her paramedic certification from Brown Memorial Hospital School of Paramedicine, she worked as a paramedic and quality assurance officer for Pellin EMS in Ellsworth. She also volunteered for the Ellsworth Fire Department, for which she served as its first female officer. Using her advanced computer skills, Eynon helped develop the Victim Identification (ID) Program that is used by the federal government to identify victims of disasters. She spent many hours behind the scenes assisting disaster missions all over the world. In the aftermath of 9-11, she served on the ID team for the Flight 93 crash in Somerset, PA. She also helped identify victims of the USAIR Flight 427 crash in Pittsburgh in 1994. Eynon was a member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church, the Youngstown Historical Society and the Genealogy Association of America. She loved gardening, genealogy, computers, and reading.
